APES Designated as "Consultant Organization of Asia Amusement & Attractions Expo"

From August 3rd to 5th, 2020 the Asia Amusement & Attractions Expo, the largest exhibition in the Asian amusement industry, was held in the China Import & Export Fair Complex of Guangzhou. As one of the leading one-stop cultural & tourism consulting management service agencies in the industry, APES was invited to participate in the exhibition. In addition to this being APES first experience with the Expo, APES was also appointed as an expert consultant for the Expo and was designated a "Consultant Organization of Asia Amusement & Attractions Expo".

Asia Amusement & Attractions Expo (AAA for short) includes China Guangzhou International Game & Amusement Exhibition (CIAE) and Guangzhou International Theme Parks and Culture &Tourism Industry Exhibition (TPAE), which has been successfully held for 15 years. The conference attracted representatives from 700 culture & tourism attractions including OCT, Landscape Ceremony and Dinosaur Park, as well as attraction equipment enterprises, 400 indoor parks and animation operators, with a total of 1100 exhibitors attending. The exhibition covers the manufacturing of game and entertainment equipment, the development of game and entertainment systems, the planning and design of theme parks, and various other branches of the culture & tourism industry.

Due to the impact of the pandemic in 2020, the tourism industry is facing its greatest economic challenge. Although the situation has eased in the China market and the tourism industry is gradually recovering, the continued outbreak around the rest of the world will still affect the tourism prospects from global visitation to China. Addressing the question of how to adapt to this new environment was a key theme of the expo.
